WHOLE BAY LEAVES — QUALITY SELECTION
01 — Grade comparison
From commercial to hand selected.
The descriptions below reflect practical commercial terminology. Buyers should confirm sample references and technical limits for any specific transaction.
02 / Standard
A cleaner, more consistent commercial selection than F.A.Q. for buyers seeking a more uniform lot.
03 / Semi Selected
A higher level of visual consistency and leaf integrity, commonly supplied in pressed bales.
04 / Hand Selected
The highest visual selection level in this range, where appearance and uniformity are especially important. Commonly packed in 10 kg cartons.
02 — Buyer specifications
Agree the leaf standard first.
Grade labels can be interpreted differently across markets. For a dependable purchase discussion, DEFSAN recommends confirming the expected leaf appearance, integrity and relevant product tolerances before commercial finalisation.
- Share required visual grade or a reference sample.
- Describe any preferred leaf integrity or uniformity.
- Confirm the packaging format suitable for the chosen grade.
03 — Packing by grade
Selection and packing go together.
The existing DEFSAN offer includes 10 kg cartons and 25/40/50 kg pressed bales. Hand Selected material is commonly carton-packed and Semi Selected material is commonly baled; actual arrangements are confirmed per order.
